Holocaust Museum Houston's Butterfly Project"
by Michelle Zimmerman (DT)
using
AM033 XXLge Swallowtail
Kato Liquid Polymer Clay, Jacquard alcohol inks, AMACO Rub 'n Buff, Pavelka's
Magic-Glos
The colors are alcohol inks mixed into liquid polymer clay and painted into the
crevices of the butterfly. After the clay is cured apply Rub 'n Buff lightly
onto the very top to accent the raised bits, then cover it in Magic-Glos and
leave it outside in the sun.
This butterfly is one of many in the Holocaust Museum Houston's "The Butterfly
Project" collection.
http://www.hmh.org/minisite/butterfly/index.html I encourage everyone
to visit the link, read the poem "The Butterfly" by Pavel Friedman and do what
you can to help them meet their goal.
