Myléne Hillam - Queensland Australia
|
I live on the Gold Coast in sunny Queensland, Australia. I have always had a passion for making handmade cards and as a 10 year old made many for my grandmother. She was a great influence on my creative spirit, always allowing me to be involved in her craft pursuits and encouraging me to follow my own.
About 10 or so years ago I picked up my first rubber stamp and enjoyed playing with it immensely. But as the mother of 4 very young children I found little time to experiment and only brought out my one stamp and one inkpad when a card was needed. As my children grew up, I found more time to play with my steadily growing collection of stamps and inks and during the past 3 years my hobby has now become a passion. During that time, I have had many pieces published in Australian and US papercrafting magazines and I currently teach classes in Brisbane.
Since joining the Krafty Lady Design Team I have discovered just how well Krafty Lady art moulds complement stamping. As I love embellishments, I am also finding that art moulds are a wonderful additon to my work and as Kristine continually challenges us, I look forward to incorporating more art moulds and R&P stamps into my projects.
