Casts painting Method:
Paint casts in desired colour, when painted get fresh baby wipe or finger &
smear off some of the paint & allow to dry, using silver or gold wash paint,
paint over the pieces to highlight. Allow to dry second coat of another paint
can also be painted after first wash is dry follow same method as above. |

Cast “A” with modeling medium onto flexible craft mat/ or laminate off cut,
allow to dry over night, turning over as required.
Paint the tin with metal primer, allow to dry,
Paint tin with 2 coats of Enigma Rose paint allow to dry, paint “A” & Domino as
well with 2 coats each.
Mix required pink colour for highlights on “A” & paint and set aside, when dry
then highlight with gold paint as well.
Randomly stamp carnation stamp inked with Brilliance Lightening Black over tin,
carefully rolling the stamp around the edges of the tin to achieve a clear
image, this can be slippery, so care is needed. If a mistake is made wipe off
quickly, but carefully with a baby wipe, and allow to dry before re stamping.
Allow tin barrel to dry completely, then when dry stamp the top of the lid as
well.
Ink up Deco Angels stamp & press out required portion on to domino surface, in
Brilliance Graphite Black Ink. Allow to dry, paint carefully with fine brush the
image where required with micador metallic water colour, and then paint sides in
Gold leaf style paint, allow to dry, then highlight the top in a free hand
design with Gold leaf style paint.
When dry seal domino with 3D dimensional magic. Set aside to set.
Using Xyron sticker creator feed two strands of gold ribbon cut with pinking
shears to seal ends, feed through machine together carefully.
Adhere to tin in required position. When set in place, adhere domino using
Bostick Zero nails, and then adhere “A” in position as well using adhesive. When
set in place, using mini dots adhere satin roses in position upon tin. To
complete your design.

Cast “R” & center bar of the cross with modeling medium on to flexible mat,
allow to dry over night, then paint with Gloss black paint & allow to dry.
Paint the tin with metal primer, allow to dry,
Then paint tin with 2 coats of Black gloss paints allow to dry.
Measure & Pre cut desired pieces of scrap booking paper for tin then using foam
dauber highlight some areas of the paper with pearlescent beige ink.
Adhere pre cut pieces of scrap booking paper to top & sides of tin using double
sided sticky tape.
Stamp carnation stamp inked with Brilliance Pearlesant beige in desired pattern
on tin, carefully rolling the stamp around the edges of the tin to achieve a
clear image,
Allow tin barrel to dry completely, then when dry stamp the top of the lid as
well. Set aside to dry.
Using melting pot supplied by Fat Cats Corner, to cast wing & cross with opals
into Krafty Lady moulds. Allow to set in moulds to achieve a glass like finish
to the casts,
The longer the opals are left in moulds the better the finish.
When moulds are cooled, and cast out, dip finger into copper leaf paint and rub
on as desired. Also do the same to the “R” & centre of cross cast, when dry
paint sides of cross & bar with copper leaf paint.
When dry, impress the “R” into the Brilliance Pearlesant beige ink pad & set
aside to dry.
Adhere full cross & portion of cross to tin as desired, and also the “R”, allow
to set, then plan where wings are to be placed, and place adhesive where
desired, and carefully set wings in place & hold in place till set, as the
adhesive has colour be careful not to smudge, if this does occur, use awl to
scrape off, and if necessary, touch up with gloss or copper leaf where desired.
Using magic dot adhere rose to lid of box, to complete the project.

Cast “T” with modeling medium on to flexible mat, allow to dry over night,
turning as desired, then when set paint with River Red 109
Paint the tin with metal primer, allow to dry,
Then paint tin with 2 coats of River Red 109 & allow to dry.
Stamp carnation stamp inked with Brilliance Cosmic Copper in desired pattern on
tin, carefully rolling the stamp around the edges of the tin to achieve a clear
image,
Allow tin barrel to dry completely, then when dry stamp the top of the lid as
well. Set aside to dry.
Using melting pot supplied by Fat Cats Corner, cast reflective angel portion
with opals into Krafty Lady mould, dribbling it around the edges for desired
affect. Allow to set in moulds to achieve a glass like finish to the casts, When
mould is cooled, cast out reflective angel portion & paint with gold paint
carefully, set aside, when dry apply another coat of gold and allow to dry also.
Also impress the “T” into the Brilliance Cosmic Copper ink pad & set aside to
dry. Then use finger to buff & highlight edges of “T” with cosmic copper ink
also, then pick up satin rose & impress into ink pad to highlight the bloom
also, and set aside to dry.
Cut the embossed scrap booking paper and adhere to tin with double sided
mounting tape, into desired position.
Adhere reflective angel portion to tin as desired, and also the “T”.
Using magic dot adhere rose to box, to complete the project.
