After Midnight Art Stamps - Words, postage, Woman collage on transparency: , Lila's Divine Play Collection, Collage paper scraps, Krafty Lady Art Moulds – AM027, medium Key , Clearsnap Crafter Ink Pads – Paradise Option Pad, TsukinekoBrilliance Ink Pad – Cosmic Copper and Victorian Violet, Tsukineko StaZon Ink Pad – Black, Clearsnap Ancient Page Ink Pads – Primrose and Plum, Ranger Distressed Ink Pad – Old Linen, OPALS Embossing Enamel – Sunburnt, Small piece of cardboard, Cardboard Heart, Scrap Purple Cardstock , Japanese Screw Punch, Junkit's Jump Ring, Lock Charm, Transparency, Scissor, Double-sided Tape, Heat Tool, Decorative scissors, Tacky Glue

1. Do Direct to Paper (DTP) on the front cover of the board book with the turquoise, teal, and magenta colors from the Crafter's Ink Paradise Option Pad. To do DTP, take the pad and lightly swipe over the surface covering it with inks. Crafter's ink pads are juicy and will cover the board book without Gesso. Heat set with heat tool. Swipe the Brilliance Cosmic Copper randomly to accent the colors and add metallic look.
2. Stamp the Open Crackle image repeatedly over the cover with Ancient Page Primrose ink. Line up edges as you stamp to give the look of crackled surface.
3. Cast the key mould with paper pulp or using paper clay – cast it so it has a jagged edge. Let dry thoroughly. Rub Brilliance Cosmic Copper over surface, let set for a couple minutes. Rub Briliance Victorian Violet over just the top of the raised key image, let set for a couple minutes. Glue to cover.
4. Stamp Belle Ami'collage stamp image of woman on transparency with StazOn ink. Cut to fit opening in book. Flip to the first page of board book and apply double-stick tape around the opening. Adhere trimmed transparency (stamp image face-down so it shows through the hole) to double-stick tape.
5. Stamp word amore on purple cardstock scrap with Ancient Page Plum ink. Rip edges and tap the Plum ink to color edges. Stamp small Postage image with Crafter's ink turquoise pad, heat set. Cut image out with decorative scissors to look like real postage, edge with plum ink. Rip collage pieces and do DTP with Distress ink Old Linen. Rip edges of each piece. Adhere all the stamped and collage pieces to cover using double-stick tape. The word amore is adhered on the left-hand side of the transparency.
6. Tap Brilliance Victorian Violet on the cardboard heart, making sure that the sides are covered with ink. Let set for a minute or two. Glue to cover.
7. To create the enamel/cracked word imagine, coat top of cardboard with any color Crafter's ink, immediately cover with OPALS Sunburnt enamel. Have the stamp imagine inked with Ancient Page plum and set aside ready to use when needed. Heat enamel till melted and immediately cover the surface again. Melt and do this procedure till you have 4 or 5 coats of melted enamel on the cardboard. Once the layers are melted, take the imagine stamp and press into the melted enamel. Wait a few seconds. The stamp should pull off easily and leave the image impressed on the surface. Let cool a minute more. Once cooled, gently bend cardboard so that the surface crackles slightly. Do not bend too hard. Glue to cover.
8. To add charm at the bottom of the cover, use the Japanese screw punch to make a small hole. An awl may also be used if you do not have the screw punch. Open the jump ring (Junkit's jump rings do not require pliers made so you can use your fingers) and attach charm on the ring and then attach ring through the hole and close.
