AMKT4 X4Lge Rococo Texture
Inspired by Jeni Calkin's Shadow Box Project. Using the
Texture SHeet and some gyprock tape. Both the ATC and the Ceiling Rose were
painted and highlighted with acrylic paints (antique blue, and gold).
This notebook can accomodate any ATC. Slits were cut in the plastic cover, and
the ATC inserted. Change the ATC to match your mood.

Using translucent Sculpey III and a mix of red and white and translucent clays
to make pink. This technique is based on a faux-wood/faux ivory technique. The
pieces were rubbed with silver Rub Ons,a nd put together using plastic beads,
seed beads, jewellery findings and Bali beads and bails.

Fossil Earrings
and Pendant

Technique based on the Būcheron Coquet from
Parole de Pāte. A cane done with various colours of Sculpey III. The pieces
were moulded, pierced, cured, and glazed with Pledge One Go (Future Floor Finish
equivalent here in Australia).
The pendant can be strung on a chain, on a choker wire, or on a black leather
lanyard.

Hair Clip
using
AM025 Med Fossil
Technique based on the Būcheron Coquet from
Parole de Pāte. A cane done with various colours of Sculpey III. The pieces
were cast, and carefully mounted onto a hair clip base, and cured. The metal
base had to be adhered to the polymer clay after curing. I use Cabot's Gloss
Varathane to glaze the fossils.

Same technique again. This time, the small shell was pressed onto the large one
after having rubbed Pearl Ex on both (gold), I pierced a hole, then baked. Then
attached to the bookmark finding, using a jump ring. This piece was not
varnished.

Fridge Magnets

The larger image will show you a set of three fridge magnets. They were cast
with scrap clay from a project (this would include Premo and Sculpey III), which
I cut in small bits and then pressed together after having sprinkled them with
copper EP. The EP doesn't show a lot but gave a distressed look to the clay. I
think rubbed the pieces with Treasure Gold (Classic) and adhered a magnet to the back with
E6000 glue.

The book was put together with the Zutter binding system.

Chocolate, gold and a brown mix of leftover polymer clays (were blended and
marbled to make this piece. The Seashore casts were cut to fit on each side of
the Fossil, on the barrette blank. The little "coral" bits were hand made. The
clay was glued onto the barrette with E6000 glue. |
Calendar

This was done with scrap clay from a friend who makes gorgeous beads. I just
took a chunk of her clay and moulded it, and added a teeny bit of Antique Silver
Pearl Ex. I did however roll the scrap clay into a ball and swirled it (as if
making a swirl bead) before pressing it into the mould. |

Treasure

Fossil cast with air dry clay, colour was added while making the background,
i.e. sponged with alcohol inks (Pinata). When the ink was dry, the fossil was
covered in gold paint, which was then wiped off the top with a slightly wet
sponge.
Dymo tape was coloured with Krylon Leafing Pen.

Symbol cast with various blue hues of polymer clay, and the top coat (the first

A blend of green and blue Premo, leftover from another project, was rolled in a
ball and pressed into the mould to form this partial cast.
The background was done with Jo Sonja acrylic paints and crackle medium. The
stamp is by About Art Accents. The notebook was taken apart and the cover was
used as template for the new cover.
