Kristine challenged the design team to create 5 items with one mould. We got to Kristine challenged the design team to create 5 items with one mould. We got to pick a few moulds each and below are the results, and new pieces are constantly added, so do come back!

I've recently acquired a few African Moulds for a project  and thought this shield would be a nice addition to my collection, also a fun item to use on its own. Great for "men" cards too.

Moulds cast with Delight Air Dry Modelling Compound, and painted with acrylic paints (Sandstone and Burnt Umber). Background stamp on ATC by Inkastamps, handmade paper was teared by wetting and then crumpled for added texture.

Using a blend of leftover clays, LizZed Creations papers, black card, and suede thonging. The bookmark style is inspired by the work of Kathy Martin.

Also Lime, Emerald and Black Sculpey III. Also black EP to create the "rock/gem" look in the clay. Beads were hand rolled. and I used 20 g Artistic Wire (Non Tranish Brass: Gold). I sealed the pieces with Pledge One Go. The larger picture will reveal a brooch I made to go with the earrings.

I've always loved this dragon, so I thought it would be fun to use it in the challenge.
Kimono Card

Sculpey III polymer clay, gold pearl Ex, Oriental paper, kimono stamp by Stonehouse Stamps, hand dyed silk by Jane Pisan. Kimono was stamped on quick laminate, and adhered to the silk.

Dragon cast with Black Premo!, coins with two types of air dry clay (hence the middle one being smaller, some clays shrink), the texture was cast with Texture Paste (Jo Sonja).

A blend of blue, red and yellow Premo yielded this brownish tint. The stamp for the background is by The Stampsmith.

Krafty Template - Present Box (small pattern used)

Blend of scraps of green/yellow Sculpey and Premo were used to cast the Tiki Mask. Scrapbook Colors Wheat was used as patina. The box was made with a selection of hand made papers from various sources, glued onto white card.

Coin cast with Arbee's Air Dry Clay. It was then broken, painted in "distress fashion" with Jo Sonja Paints (red indian oxyde, and rich gold). The ATC was covered with a coat of white Gesso, then paint, then the Ginkgo (Beeswax) was embossed in gold. The ATC was sanded after edging with a gold leafing pen, again to distress it.

Using a mix of Sculpey Ultralight, and Premo colours (red). Used Lumiere Pearl Magenta as "patina", rubbing it off the surface of the cast before it dried. Also used a choker necklace.

On this side, the inside of the box was simply painted with one nice coat of Violet Lumiere. The casts were painted with the Magenta, and they were highlighted with Jo Sonja Pale cold paint, applied with a fairly dry brush.

Flexible Bracelet
using

Made with Sculpey Super Flex (Bake & Bend). You can see here how it was assembled. I shaped the locks by placing them on a soda pop can to give them a curve (a Syndee Holt technique).

Using Delight Air Dry Modelling compound, ATC and Art Mould painted with antique blue paint and highlighted with pale gold (Jo Sonja). Brads/Split pins were used to secure the lock to the ATC
 
 
Notebook

Using Delight Air Dry Modelling compound, painted with Sandstone acrylic paint, then sponged with Sepia Archival ink. The booklet cover was stamped with Archival Sepia. The book was unbound and the cover was used as a template, then the book was reassembled. All stamps by Inkastamps.

Sculpey Ultralight Buddha Earrings
using
AM181 Lge Buddah Head

Casts moulded with Sculpey UltraLight, painted with Acrylic Paints and Treasure Gold (Classic). The background was done with an Oriental Text Stamp from Beeswax pressed onto the back of the mould. These are surprisingly light for their size.

Colourful Magnets

Buddhas cast with Kato Translucent Clay, and Pinata inks (green, light blue and orange). A magnet was pressed in the back while the faces were in the moulds so the magnet lays flat on the surface it is stuck on.
Olive Green Box

Cast with air dry clay (can't remember the brand) painted with Olive Green then dry brushed with Silver paint -- both by Jo Sonja. The box is a simple papier maché box, painted with silver and covered with a wash of Olive Green paint. The leaf was painted while the box was being painted.
Buddha Bangles

Both these were done with Translucent clay (Pink one with Kato Clay and green one with Fimo Translucent) with a bit of coloured clay added, Alazirin Crimson for the pink one and Leaf Green for the faux-jade one.

Seven Buddhas

The clover  cast was placed on top of the hole marking on the Small Oval Tag, and I pierced a hole at the other end with a drill.

"The Scream" Pendant

Cast with a blend of Gold, Emerald, and Cobalt Blue Sculpey III, with a tiny amount of Translucent.
I didn't varnish this piece as I loved the petrified wood look it had.

Mini Altoids tin painted with JoSonja acrylic paint. Mould cast in air dry clay, painted in Acrylic paint (Indian Red Oxide and then a patina of Gold was added). Webbing spray was used on the tin and inside the tin for decoration.

Tiki Spring

Both the flowers and the tiki were cast with Sculpey Ultra Light and glazed with a blend of Liquid Kato Clear Medium and green Pinata ink, then cured. The Frangipanis were only partially glazed.
Magnetic Peg

Made with the Faux Bone technique, the back is a section slightly larger than a wooden peg, glued to the peg, then the Tiki was glued on top. A strong magnet is glued at the back so it is both a magnet, and a peg for important papers.
Verdigris Tin

Cast with Air Dry Clay and painted with Verdigris effect paint and patina solution (by Chatsworth). Tin painted the same way. Stamp by Inkastamps, embossed with Verdigris EP.

Faux Bone Transfer Pendant

This cabochon was moulded from a simple Faux Bone technique, I let it rest in the mould for a few minutes prior to unmoulding, then did a colour photocopy transfer onto the surface, and cured.
Broche / Brooch

Once the cabochon was cured, I put a couple of coats of Kato Clear Medium, then stamped the face from an Art Neko stamp onto the KCM using StazOn Ink. I then added a few more coats of Kato Clear Medium, heat setting/curing with a heat gun between each step.

Mokume Gane Pendant

Simple Mokume Gane using Translucent Clay (Katoclay, and Sculpey III) and Tangerine Pinata Inks (Jacquard).
Mosaic Necklace

A cane was made into a mosaic and pressed in the mould, the excess was carefully cut off taking care to not cut the mould, and the back of the mould was then filled with Gold Sculpey III Clay. Bicone beads were created with the same blend, and a bead roller (Amaco).

Using translucent Kato Clay mixed with Tanzanite Embossing Powder from A Paper Garden (USA). Holes were drilled on the side of the cast after curing, 20g silver wire was used to cast beads, and make the clasp (which you can see in the larger picture). This has a stone appearance to it, and I got the idea from Donna Kato's Tutorials.
