Modelling Clay (Sphinx), Metallic Bronze Lumiere paint, Tattered Rose Distress
Embossing Powder, blue Sharpie marker, metal shim, assorted handmade papers,
yellow paper (from kit), Cloisonné Apricot Parfait, Leafing pens in copper,
gold and rose gold and StazOn Ultramarine inkpad.
To create the weathered effect on the castings, I first painted them with 2
coats of Metallic Lumiere paint and then sprinkled with Distress Embossing
Powder whilst still wet. I heated the embossing powder until it bubbled a little
and then before it cooled, I rubbed away some of the crystals. Once cool, I
dry-brushed some more Lumiere paint across the surface to further distress. |
