Nefertiti pin
AM072 XLge Doll Face
AM286 X4Lge Lock (2)
AM320 X3Lge Half Circle

Extra bits: Kato Polyclay, Jack Johnston's Prosculpt.
Nefertiti needed just a bit of hair (and SOYSILK® Fusion is my new favourite "hair"). I gathered a strand that had an attractive tip. I clipped it high enough so that I could sandwich it between the head and her crown to hold it in place.
Rocket Girl pin
AM072 XLge Doll Face Deep

Extra bits: Fimo, Jack Johnston's Prosculpt, and SOYSILK® for her hair

I used alcohol ink to create the deep colors. To get the shape and look of hair i held tightly to one end of the large bunch of SOYSILK® Fusion, and gently pulled strands off the other end so that the lengths would be different. After that i fluffed the hair and inserted it into a hole in the the clay.
Clown in Bath pin
AM304 X3Lge Old Man

Extra bits: Jack Johnston's Prosculpt, Kato Polyclay, SOYSILK, Kato Liquid Polyclay, and white and black paint. The SOYSILK® is trapped halfway in the Liquid Polyclay.

I wanted his hair to stay where it was yet maintain the look of hair floating in a bath tub. I added a small amount of Kato Liquid Polyclay to a layer of Soy Silk Fusion, trapped the mixture between 2 tiles and cured in the oven. When it came out I pulled off the edges so that it would be uneven. I added more Soy Silk® Fusion and coated only the half that would be next to the head with Kato Liquid Polyclay so that the other end still looked like hair.

  Mr. Barista pin
by Michelle Zimmerman (DT)
AM072 XLge Doll Face Deep

SOYSILK Fusion dyed with alcohol ink, Jack Johnston Prosculpt clay and a permanent marker for stubble. This is an ode to our local barista.
