Keys and Keyholes
using
AM161 X3Lge Medieval Keyhole
AM196 Lge Keyhole Diamond

Some of the pieces were cast with Air dry Modeling compound, some poured with hotglue.
Fun Foam Casts
using
AM014  Med Egyptian Bug
AM063 Sm Miss Froggy
AM138 Lge Fleur D'lyse Distressed

I tried using fun foam with the molds. Another very light weight material. Great for adding to cards or ATCs.

I laid the fun foam over the mold and heated it from above with the Heat It Craft Tool. If you over heat the fun foam it will burn through. The Heat it tool is a lower temp heat gun that doesn't blow so hard. Great for using with embossing powders too.
The fun foam will slump into the mold- while it is still warm I pressed it firmly to get all the detail. Use a hot pad for this- the fun foam gets pretty warm.

I used a little metallic buffing wax on some of these for a light touch of color.

Delight and Radiant Pearls
using
AM030 XLge Mummy
AM050 XXLge Cameo 3 Ladies
AM051 XXLge Fan

These pieces were cast with Delight Air Dry Modeling Compound. It is very easy to work with and dries to an extremely lightweight product. You can use almost any medium to color them
I used some Radiant Pearls to color these pieces. I liked the natural, stone like look with these.

Delight and Sharpie Markers
using
AM030 XLge Mummy

Colored with Sharpie markers and coated with Glossy Accents for a shiney glaze. The shapies gives almost an enameled apearance. Sharpie markers are great for coloring detailed pieces.

Encaustic Wax and Beeswax

AM169 XLge Dragon Pendant
AMT Torso Monique
AM168 X3Lge Butterfly Plate
AM160 X3Lge Face Rays2

Beeswax was used to pour the moulds, and it was colored with a tiny bit of the encaustic wax. Encaustic waxes have a lot of pitment, and a very intense colour, so a little goes a long way.
The casts were finished with metallic buffing waxes and/or Pearl Ex to bring out the detail.

AMMT - Torso Monty

I did a mix of Opals and hotglue to get the swirled pattern and the lacey edge.  Mostly Opals with just a small amount of hot glue pellets.
