using
AM033 XXLge Swallowtail

Kato Liquid Polymer Clay, Jacquard alcohol inks, AMACO Rub 'n Buff, Pavelka's Magic-Glos
The colors are alcohol inks mixed into liquid polymer clay and painted into the crevices of the butterfly. After the clay is cured apply Rub 'n Buff lightly onto the very top to accent the raised bits, then cover it in Magic-Glos and leave it outside in the sun.
This butterfly is one of many in the Holocaust Museum Houston's "The Butterfly Project" collection.   I encourage everyone to visit the link, read the poem "The Butterfly" by Pavel Friedman and do what you can to help them meet their goal.

The larger image will show you a set of three fridge magnets. They were cast with scrap clay from a project (this would include Premo and Sculpey III), which I cut in small bits and then pressed together after having sprinkled them with copper EP. The EP doesn't show a lot but gave a distressed look to the clay. I think rubbed the pieces with Treasure Gold and adhered a magnet to the back with E6000 glue.

and custom blends of Sculpey III to make Purple (blue, red and white) and Pink (red and white). The technique used is the same as for Swirled Lentil Beads, I used half a ball of pink and half a ball of purple, and swirled. When the swirl was to my liking, I pushed the point into the mould and carefully cut off the extra clay at the back.

and custom blends of Sculpey III to make Purple (blue, red and white) and Pink (red and white) and the Swirl Lentil Bead technique, but when the swirl is the way I like it, I push it in the mould and cut off the extra, carefully, at the back. For this heart, the clay was twisted and blended before swirling.

Chocolate, gold and a brown mix of leftover polymer clays (were blended and marbled to make this piece. The Seashore casts were cut to fit on each side of the Fossil, on the barrette blank. The little "coral" bits were hand made. The clay was glued onto the barrette with E6000 glue.
Calendar
by France Chevalier (DT)

using
AM040 XLge Fossil Snail

This was done with scrap clay from a friend who makes gorgeous beads. I just took a chunk of her clay and moulded it, and added a teeny bit of Antique Silver Pearl Ex. I did however roll the scrap clay into a ball and swirled it (as if making a swirl bead) before pressing it into the mould.
Treasure
using
AM040 XLge Fossil Snail

Fossil cast with air dry clay, colour was added while making the background, i.e. sponged with alcohol inks (Pinata). When the ink was dry, the fossil was covered in gold paint, which was then wiped off the top with a slightly wet sponge.
Dymo tape was coloured with Krylon Leafing Pen.
