was cast with one mix, which was "fitted" with the blunt end of a satay skewer,

Extra bits: Jack Johnston's Prosculpt, Kato Polyclay, SOYSILK, Kato Liquid
Polyclay, and white and black paint. The SOYSILK® is trapped halfway in the
Liquid Polyclay.
I wanted his hair to stay where it was yet maintain the look of hair floating in
a bath tub. I added a small amount of Kato Liquid Polyclay to a layer of Soy
Silk Fusion, trapped the mixture between 2 tiles and cured in the oven. When it
came out I pulled off the edges so that it would be uneven. I added more Soy
Silk® Fusion and coated only the half that would be next to the head with Kato
Liquid Polyclay so that the other end still looked like hair. |

out of the middle of each, lined them up and made a challis shape between the
two cameos. The textured areas were textured with sand paper.

The face was cast with black Sculpey III, colored with alcohol inks and sealed with
Future Floor Finish. The After Midnight art glass was heated then opal embossing
enamels melted onto it. Shrink plastic was stamped colored with
leafing pen and shrunk. Everything was glued in place with super glue.

Dragonfly Wings Set
Old Premo clay that has been leached and is a little dry was used for the body, translucent Premo with a few drops of Jacquard Lime Green alcohol ink was used for the wings and clothing. The "clothing" is the hair from the Face Rays mould cut out and flipped upside down. After curing the entire project was tooth brushed with burnt umber oil paint, wiped off and allowed to dry.

Kato Polyclay, Swarovski flat back crystals and E-6000 glue. The clay was formed
and baked over a lightbulb to get a nice round shape. The two moulds were formed
and joined into a full "person", then cut down the middle to give the side
views.

Dragonfly Wings Set
Old Premo clay that has been leached and is a little dry was used for the body, translucent Premo with a few drops of Jacquard Lime Green alcohol ink was used for the wings and clothing. The "clothing" is the hair from the Face Rays mould cut out and flipped upside down. After curing the entire project was tooth brushed with burnt umber oil paint, wiped off and allowed to dry.

the letters.
Make texture cast by covering the Krafty Lady Moulding mats with lightweight
texture paste (Golden's) and letting it dry overnight. Color with shimmering
mist (Lumin Arte) and Color Wash (Ranger).
