Old Premo clay that has been leached and is a little dry was used for the body, translucent Premo with a few drops of Jacquard Lime Green alcohol ink was used for the wings and clothing. The "clothing" is the hair from the Face Rays mould cut out and flipped upside down. After curing the entire project was tooth brushed with burnt umber oil paint, wiped off and allowed to dry.

Cutest Itty Bitty Magnet
by France Chevalier (DT)
using
AM349 XLge Mini Derriere (deep)
Easy and great look, using a coat of Aqua Acrylic Paint (Jo Sonja) but colours
such as Celadon or Jade would also work (this was a bit of a blend of all
three), then dry brushed with Jo Sonja Burnished Copper. I then stuck a magnet
on the back (the back of the backside that is!) and it's the cutest itty
bittiest magnet!
|
Clippy Magnet
by France Chevalier (DT)
using
AM349 XLge Mini Derriere (deep)
An upgrade to the previous version of this magnet. Using a beautiful Beeswax Art
Stamps rubber stamp for the background, and some acrylic paint (Aqua and
Burnished Copper - Jo Sonja), a small wooden peg, and a large puzzle piece. Word

Beach Babe
by Michelle Zimmerman (DT)
using
AM349 XLge Mini Derriere
by Michelle Zimmerman
Kato Polyclay, Studio Clay, brass tubing and some sand paper. I gave her some
hands and feet to show some fun and frolicking attitude, then set her on a
skinner blend of beach colored of Studio Clay. She was then framed with black
clay. Brass tubing was wrapped with clay and is what the cord will pass through.
This necklace is an ode to the style of Lynne Ann Schwarzenberg and will be
raffled off at her guild retreat this year.

Shields
by Michelle Zimmerman (DT)
using
AM345 XXLge African Shield by Michelle Zimmerman
This is a waste clay project. All the bits of waste clay were gathered together,
twisted up and sent through the pasta machine to mimic wood tones (which I’m
sure happen somewhere on earth). The shields were made from complimentary waste
clays and highlighted just a bit with mica powder.

using

Kato Polyclay, red oil paint and some beads. The fingers are modeled after my
very own. The fish are made of Kato Polyclay, then aged a bit by rubbing oil
paint onto them. Their fins are slices from a layered cane. The fish were
mounted on metal sticks and decorated with beads.
