an attractive shape with an extra flap, flip the flap over backwards and cure

Magnetic Peg

Faux Bone technique,
the back is a section slightly larger than a wooden peg, glued to the peg, then
the Tiki was glued on top. A strong magnet is glued at the back so it is both a
magnet, and a peg for important papers.

The filigree texture is a wonderful way to finish the back of moulded pieces fo
jewellery.
It also looks
really nice as a corner decoration in Kristine's
Shadow Box.
